Ronda Pierson’s recipe for success has spanned more than two decades. As a health reporter and cooking show host, national news anchor and actor, she has appeared in hundreds of films, commercials, corporate videos and TV shows. As a SAG member since her teens, Ronda has risen to the top as a News Anchor, host of several hit National TV programs, and as contributing culinary host and producer on Discovery Health Channel’s “Health Point.”

Ronda first began mixing her love of food and passion for broadcasting in Los Angeles over 20 years ago as a local restaurant reporter at KCAL. In 1994, while working as an evening news anchor and reporter in New York, Ronda was courted by LIFETIME TELEVISION to host kitchen segments for “Our Home,” one of daytime’s most highly rated programs. A national audience continued to follow her as she hosted weekly Cooking shows with top name chefs.

However, it was the Braun Corporation that recognized Ronda’s flair on kitchen sets rather than behind anchor desks. The veteran TV personality was hired to nationally represent the company on TV shows and home shopping giant, QVC. As a regular on-air guest for Braun’s wide range of kitchen and beauty products, Ronda experienced huge success and fan base as the corporation’s cooking expert from 1998-2001.

Later, Ronda was named “home entertaining expert” when chosen by QVC to represent “RSVP,” the networks proprietary line of tabletop products. From 2001-2003, she demonstrated to millions of viewers the art of table-setting while offering creative entertaining advice.

From there, Ronda was hand-picked by legendary “set it and forget it” rotisserie king Ron Popeil for the high-profile on-air role as new “face” and spokesperson for Ronco’s mass culinary line in 2005. Just two years later, Ronda was promoted to Director of Infomercials and Live TV. The role encompassed hosting all product instructional videos and creating recipes for all new cooking products as well as hosting infomercials for Ronco products.

After years of development and research, Ronda is responsible for the customer top rated brand of Great Flavors® concentrated stocks and spices. As managing director, she oversaw the launch of the highly successful premium line of products from inception to retail. Ronda’s role as a guest chef on cooking shows includes monthly appearances on HSN where her specialty is incorporating the Great Flavors® ingredients into her featured recipes.  

While her plate may seem full, Ronda is a major multi-tasker who’s looking to plan what’s next on her menu.
